What information do you need to provide a quotation?
To prepare an accurate quotation, it's helpful to receive any available drawings, dimensions, specifications or project information. If drawings aren't available, our team can discuss your requirements and advise on the information needed to progress your enquiry.
Are your steel canopies galvanised?
Yes. All of our steel canopies are hot-dip galvanised as standard, providing excellent protection against corrosion and ensuring a durable, low-maintenance finish suitable for external use. Where a decorative finish is required, canopies can also be powder coated or painted over the galvanised finish.
Do you provide structural calculations?
Where required, structural calculations can be provided as part of the project. If calculations are already available from your structural engineer, we are happy to manufacture directly from the approved drawings and specifications.
Can you manufacture from our drawings?
Absolutely. We regularly fabricate steel canopies from architects' drawings, structural engineers' details and client-supplied fabrication drawings. If your project is still at an early stage, we're also happy to discuss your requirements and work alongside your project team to develop a practical solution.
Do you deliver and install nationwide?
Yes. We manufacture steel canopies for clients throughout the UK and can supply them either on a supply-only basis or as a complete supply and installation package. Our experienced team works with commercial, industrial and public sector clients nationwide.
Can you match our existing building or company colours?
Yes. Although our steel canopies are supplied hot-dip galvanised as standard for long-term corrosion protection, they can also be powder coated or painted in a wide range of RAL colours to complement your existing building, branding or architectural design.
Can a steel canopy be attached to an existing building?
Yes. Many of our steel canopies are designed to be fixed to existing commercial or industrial buildings, creating covered entrances, loading bays, bike shelters or external working areas. Canopies are typically installed onto existing concrete foundations or bases, which are to be provided by others prior to installation.
Do I need planning permission for a steel canopy?
Planning permission requirements vary depending on the size, location and intended use of the canopy.
